Welcome to New Jersey's fastest dive boat for deep exploration, the Depth Charge!  The Depth Charge is a 42-foot Provincial, custom built to salvage the RMS Republic and other cool wrecks!

The following pictures (all images from video) are from the voyage of the Depth Charge to the Ayuruoca, Saturday, May 27, 2000 (continued from page I).

John Chatterton descends down from the tie-in point to the wreck.  After giving up wreck diving "permanently" after the 1998 Britannic Expedition, he's back, like a shining light out of the abyssal darkness!
John is diving his brand new Buddy Inspiration closed-circuit rebreather, which he really likes.
Here's a front view of John exploring with his rebreather - look Ma, no bubbles!
John Chatterton explores the hallways and rooms inside the Ayuruoca stern.  He later complained that my bubbles destroyed the peaceful silence of his dive. ;-)
Various bits and pieces of brass lie all over the floors inside the Oil Wreck.  It is a very "brassy" wreck.
Heading back along the starboard railing towards the end of the dive.
As I ascend at the end of my dive, I pass Bonnie who is on her way down to the wreck to begin hers.
Some people bring back lobsters, Bonnie brings back a chicken... ;-)
